So that’s me above, James Dargan: a writer, raconteur and blogger from the Peaky Blinder land of Birmingham, of Irish stock and proud. I write about what I know and also about what I don’t. I search for the invisible in the visible world. I fight with my ideas and other things besides by holding my metaphorical pen by the scruff of the goddamn neck and just going for it, letting out my words, giving ‘em a shot in a world that most of the time doesn’t want to listen!
Tell you what, give me a chance - I write historical fiction, crime fiction, satire and other pieces that you may or may not like.
You can find my musing on Amazon and other online stores as ebooks and paperbacks. Do a writer a favour and purchase one or two. I’ll be able to eat that way! Don’t like fiction? There’s my blog just across the way on this site, too, where I write about literature and politics in the main as well as I can interpret it.
But joke on the side, and on a serious note, if none of that interests you, then why not go over to Medium and check out my blog posts on technology. I write a lot about a great passion of mine, quantum computers, Bitcoin, not to mention transhumanism and other futuristic shit that’d make Philip K. Dick proud.
Want to find out more about the coming tide of quantum computers? Then you can read my articles at The Quantum Daily, a Toronto-based tech publication where I’m director of content.
Well, that was quick. I don’t have much else to say, really… Mmm, hold on, I suppose I should - I’m also an English lecturer at a college.
